The repair story
The vehicle came in with low compression, blue smoke on start-up and a noisy top end at 380,000 km. We pulled the engine, sent the head and block out for machining, and rebuilt it with a full gasket set, new pistons and rings, mains and big-end bearings, timing gear and a new oil pump. After break-in tuning it was back to factory power.
